Skoda Fabia R5 and MRF Tyres were again the combination in second day but this time with a much less experienced driver, especially in an R5 car. Victor Dimitriu, Romanian dealer for MRF Tyres as well, is an ambitious driver but also a clever one. He was very open to talking on every point about driving and tyres. Working with him on driving more efficiently and flowing, he was taking it step by step and able to apply and giving good feedback. Especially about the braking for types of corners and approaching to corners we had tried radically different driving. In my opinion and given his feedback we had seen good improvement in his following rallies and also he had participated in our championship event, which was a very tricky one and he finished 9th overall.

During 2 days of testing it was my first experience with MRF Tyres. Different compounds tested for both cars and they were performing on top. Performance, heat/pressure management and durability were really good. Not surprised that they had been European Champions.
