Full season coaching with Turkish driver Mustafa Çakal in his GP Garage run Hyundai İ20 R5 resulted with FIA European Rally Trophy title! It was his first time with an R5 car. During full european program there was only one national appearance as it was counting for European Trophy round. We had been to rallies in Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and finally in Germany. First full season coaching for me as well, it was a very good experience for me to learn and improve myself. Mustafa Çakal is a highly concentrated and talented driver for his age and he improved quickly and started to implement fast and consistent driving. With a clean strategy and hard work he did a very good season and with his GP Garage team run Hyundai i20 R5 he clinched the title of FIA European Rally Trophy. For me it was also very special as i had won the same trophy in 2017 and now as a driver coach in 2021!
